It appears that there is a movement difficulty from our computer to a spreadsheet. Not every fix cipher has (-) a panache after it, but at small half do. The Pitney Bowes organisation doesn’t discern this and adds it to a sort 931226. This of course, messes up the whole mailer. Can I intend this fixed?

I would ues the Length since the zip is either 5 without the new piece or 10 with it. You keep the form you like. The long form with a statement like if LEN(A1)=10 then keep A1 else add 5 blanks. IF(LEN(A1)=10,A1,A1&” “)
If it prefers the short form then if the length is 5 keep A1 else only keep the 5 leftmost digits.
